JOB CLASSIFICATION: Cook DEPARTMENT: Food HOURS/DAYS OFF: Mornings, days off can vary based on schedule PAY: $ 16.85 Job Description: Employer is looking for an International Cook who is motivated, career-oriented culinary professional, International and Western with the experience and desire to learn. Responsibilities include: - Culinary degree or cooking certification desired - Must have demonstrated culinary experience in: Sauce preparation, stock preparation, garnish and menu breakout - Ability to prepare entr es for all airlines - Ability to break out menus and interpret recipes - Operation of the kitchen and it's interaction from other departments, adhering to company policies and procedure. - Quality and production, sanitation and cleanliness. - Overseeing portion size, evaluating and improving productivity, controlling expenses. - Maintain culinary equipment and instructing staff in equipment use. - Ensure satisfaction by providing high quality meals and service. - Schedule production. Requirements: - 3-5 years cooking skills in the kitchen. - Strong sanitation skills, HACCP knowledge. - Strong adherence to production and recipe standards. - On time, alert, and properly uniformed when scheduled to be at work. - Careful and conscientious in the performance of duties. - Interpersonal skills.
