This position is for a Desktop / Helpdesk Support Intern who will provide end user and server level support to our corporate office. The position will also offer opportunity to participate in enterprise projects in a team setting.
Provide helpdesk support to executive user community.
Participate in centralized helpdesk support for the enterprise using a ticket system.
Deployment of desktops and laptops with Windows O/S.
Troubleshoot and correct system malfunctions.
Provide end user training as needed.
Hardware support (Desktop, Laptop, Server).
Application support (MS Office Suites, Anti-Virus, etc.).
Email Administration (MS Outlook).
Create documentation on processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Adhere to all IT policies and procedures.
Problem analysis and resolution.
Ability and willingness to continue to expand knowledge and experience base.
Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines.
Drive and resourcefulness in making contributions both inside and outside areas of specifically assigned responsibilities.
General understanding of business processes.

Enrolled and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with Ticketing System.
Experience with Windows 7 & 10.
Experience with Office 365.
Experience with Active Directory in Windows 2008 or 2012 environment.
Familiar with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
Knowledge of supporting VPN.
Experience with Dell Desktops/Laptops, HP Servers & iOS Devices.
Excellent communication skills.
