Options Family & Behavioral Services Internship - Mental Health Internship in Burnsville, Minnesota

Join the Options Family & Behavior Services team as Mental Health Intern working with Youth age 12-19 in our day treatment setting! We are dedicated to providing a person-centered therapeutic rehabilitation journey to all individuals and their families with co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency. As the first co-occurring program for youth in MN since 1997 Options has been a leader in treating the whole person. In addition, we offer integrated behavioral and primary medical care services in our program. The purpose of the Day Treatment internship is to provide support services to adolescence participating in our co-occurring mental health and chemical health day treatment program. The Intern will work in collaboration with the Day Treatment Psychotherapist to provide a positive treatment experience and complete all required documentation. We are seeking one great individual to join our team and learn from some amazing professionals! (Must be available Fridays from 12pm-3pm) This position requires: Enrollment in a mental health related Master s Degree program Placement at Options as part of a credit bearing internship course Valid Driver s licenses and Auto insurance Must pass a Department of Human Services background study Options Family & Behavior Services offers: A competitive stipend for successful completion of internship.
