Summary Under the supervision of a Facility Administrator or Manager Thisposition supervises clients during the shift in a manner that ensures theirsafety and security. In addition, this position assists in directing clientsin a manner that promotes their growth and development.Primary Duties andResponsibilities while under supervison the Intern will be providedExperiences in the following job specific duties:* Interacts and supervises clients in a manner that ensures their safety andsecurity.* Conducts and documents head count/bed checks in accordance with facilitystandards.* Maintains regular communication with supervisor and co-workers.* Supervises movement or routine on the unit- Observesclient behavior and intervenes appropriately.* Escorts clients between locations within the facility such as the medicaloffice, bathroom, or group room.* Demonstrates appropriate use of client intervention skills and Safe CrisisManagement (SCM) techniqu es.* Implements and supports the company's mission and philosophy;follows the company's policies regarding professionalexpectations, code of conduct, and other practices and procedures.* Maintains confidentiality of information related to client information.* Demonstrates professionalism in performance of job.* Demonstrates effort in professional development.* Observes activities and responds accordingly including emergency situationssuch as evacuation, CPR, or first aid.Minimum Requirements:60 semester hours of college credits in a Human Services/Social Workdescipline and/or minimum 1 year experience working with At-Risk youth.High School Diploma or GED.Other Qualifications:* At least twenty-one (21) years of age.* Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearancesand, if necessary, FBI).* Non-communicable diseases physical exam.* Valid driver's license from the employees state of residence.* Valid registered vehicle insurance, if applicable.Equal Opportunity EmployerPositions may be filled without notice to the Workforce Center.
