INTERN – Strategic Alliances / Fall 2017

The mission of our Strategic Alliances team is to create long-term, multi-dimensional partnerships with key brands by leveraging our shared resources to meaningfully create global value for each other’s businesses. This could be in the areas of sponsorship, co-marketing, promotions, R&D, licensing, royalties, distribution, CRM, etc.


The selected intern will work within the Alliances organization and with stakeholders across multiple Sony entities to help develop marketing-related programs for select partner prospects. The intern will participate in market research and prospecting, analysis on overall spend and investment levels, valuation analysis, presentation materials, packaged offerings to sell into partners, strategy development to help support the Alliances organization and ensure success, among other projects.


• Enrollment in an accredited college/university for the duration of the internship

• Passion and focus on marketing activities and how big brands can work together in partnership

• Interest in entertainment, music, gaming, and consumer electronics

• Analytical and valuation skills

• Experience in creative design tools for presentation is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

SPE’s Fall Intern 2017 Program is a 12-week part-time program from September 25-December 15, 2017. All applicants must be enrolled in an accredited degree program for the entire duration of their internship and must be available for the full 12 week session.
