We are looking for a highly-motivated, clear communicator to assist the Human Resources team with internal communications and engagement initiatives. Applicants for this position must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a clear understanding of the importance of company culture and colleague engagement.
Support the Sr. Manager, Communications & Culture in managing internal content in alignment with our company strategy and cross-functional teams’ purposes and agendas
Assist with creating and editing internal communications including newsletters, emails, surveys and other components of larger communications plans
Research and assist with the implementation of colleague engagement initiatives
Provide administrative support for various internal communications and engagement projects (contacting internal stakeholders, sending out communications mailings, responding to inquiries)
Assist with planning of and providing support of internal events (for both on-site and remote colleagues)
Planning and executing colleague engagement activities related to employee service anniversaries and organization-wide events
Education: New graduate or currently enrolled in university classes at a junior or senior level; preferred area of study is communications or a similar field
Experience: writing, editing, proofreading and communications skills
Skills: Strong communication skills, writing skills and reasoning skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
· Motivated self-starter with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
· Ability to work independently and with others cross-functionally
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.)
*Internship will be paid and expected to work between 15-25 hours a week. Ideally, this would be someone who would be able to work through the Summer and into the Fall as their schedule allows.
