EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in an agile environment with product managers, UX designers, and software development teams to understand business and technical requirements, and translate them into intuitive, highly styled, working interfaces
Write well-formed, compatible, standards-based CSS3 styling for the internal product
Develop interfaces that are cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatible
Take ownership of tasks and drive them through to completion
Eager to work with Java Enterprise Edition and Spring, and collaborate with backend developers on producing scalable, highly performant software
QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Attention to detail and ability to match your UI to any design in a cross-browser/cross-platform environment.
Demonstrable experience with web application development and styling including responsive and adaptive approaches
Eager to work with template engines and able to wrap your mind around complex CSS problems with given HTML markup; experience with Sass or Less
Experience with HTML4 / HTML5
Ability to work within creative teams in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Good verbal and written English
NICE TO HAVE:
Good understanding of frameworks and libraries – including Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.
Prior experience in working with design and development teams either in-house or with an agency
