Job Summary Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.Persons employed in this position are responsible for but not limited to supplying comprehensive test engineering support for research and development and production programs to ensure total customer satisfaction. Responsibilities - Developing Object Oriented Software for production based test equipment, using C# - Experience interfacing Software with external devices using RS232, UART, CAN-Bus or similar.- Develop simple fixturing for new products for use in production plant end of line testing.- Design Schematics for production plant end of line testing equipment.- Designing, writing and supporting Test Software to automate production test- Provide Documentation involving design, requirements, and operator instructions- Support production requirements- Write various applications supporting product rework- Effectively communicate designs to colleagues and managers.- Coordinate activities to accomplish prototype and pilot production runs to mature the design to meet customer needs for finished products. Requirements - Experiance with Computer Data Aquisition systems (DAQ). - Experiance writing Object Orented software in C#, or C++. - Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE and relational database.- Excellent communication skills- Ability to work well in a Team environment- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups- Ability to work under direct supervision- Ability to work with clearly defined project steps- Experiance or interest in CAN-Bus, UART, IC2, SPI, GPIB, RF, LTE, GPS or similar technologies- Limited knowledge of a particular technical area Education Experience Request - Currently earning a Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or similar field.
