As a Supply Chain Intern in Great Yarmouth, you wil be supporting the TEam achieve:

  • Parts Master Program: Precursor to ERP system: Working on developing SAGE Parts Masters to reflect MRP needs

  • Vendor Performance Program: Scoring, follow up and control of Vendors on QA programs

  • Stock Program: Developing stock-controls (possible use of barcoding scanners) that feed directly into SAP

Responsibilities:

  • Doing role: Leading & taking part in TEOA activities around Supply Chain initiatives

  • Reporting performance measures: Success points within the program

  • Creating system approaches: Engaging with stakeholders within the business to capture key information: ‘Selling back to them’ the model, in order to get agreement & buy-in

  • Setting up pilot schemes with handful of people across different disciplines to ‘trial’ new initiatives

  • Deliver small projects

Desired level of Expereince:

  • Demonstrable application of common sense & ability to be self-managing in terms of time & actions

  • Currently studying a Supply chain qualification or relevant equivalent

  • High computer literacy

  • Excellent communication skills
