The Amazon Kindle leadership team at our Corporate EU headquarters in Luxembourg is looking for a smart, enthusiastic and creative Intern to help grow our business and create innovative customer experiences.
A successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a strong bias for action, keen attention to details and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be analytical, customer-centric, resourceful, team oriented, and an effective communicator.
This is a highly visible internship position in one of the most exciting business areas of Amazon.
As Kindle intern your main task will be to acquire new customers across Europe. This will include:
· Contribute to the creation of a Marketing platform and implement across EU marketplaces.
· Lead the marketing execution across several partners
· Analyze data and results to recommend improvements on marketing tactics
· Measure and present external data including technology trends, competitive intelligence, customer feedback and other sources of data and research.
· Assess current business processes and identify areas of improvement.
· Building strong internal relationships across Amazon and influence internal teams to deliver the right results for the business
This role presents an excellent chance for learning and developing skills in order to be successful in a fast paced environment.
Structured goals and a development plan will be provided during the internship, along with a selected mentor to provide support.
At the end of the internship, peer and manager input feed into a formal internship review process.
Currently enrolled in an educational program at bachelor or master level or recently graduated
Fluent business level command of the English language
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to develop deep analysis and back up assumptions
Delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment; proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen (strong bias for action)
Interest in Marketing, digital technologies, consumer products, media, and e-commerce
Savvy in using tools like MS Excel/ SQL /Access or other database software and content-management systems
Fluency in one or more additional European marketplace language (German, French, Italian or Spanish)
