Job Summary This position provides customer support by troubleshooting with customers, promoting and marketing parts and services via the telephone. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide responsive parts order assistance to customers by telephone, mail or in person in order to take orders, change orders, cancel orders, obtain details of complaints and provide information about parts order questions Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. Continuous customer satisfaction improvement for parts ordering and return Review customer back-order reports, inform customers and release parts that are on manual control Identify, consolidate and report customer critical parts Pursue customer critical parts with planning and procurement personnel Assist with obtaining critical information such as engine serial numbers, engine application, customer information, etc. Relay critical information such as parts lead-times to customers Refer unresolved customer grievances to Sr. Customer Representatives for further investigation Direct parts technical questions to the appropriate specialists Maintain a clean, organized, and operational workspace Conduct special projects as identified by business requirements Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations Responsible for following safety and environmental procedures.
