VMware Field Marketing Support Intern in Milan, Italy

Performance Objectives

  • MARKETING OPERATIONS (65%) Focus will mainly be on marketing lead management and tracking, aimed to maximise marketing business contribution to sales. This activity implies:

  • after event customer data collection and cleaning

  • upload of contact names to SFDC

  • weekly calls with the team in Rome in charge of lead qualification

  • coordination with Europe marketing operations

  • reporting to marketing team and director

  • SOCIAL & DIGITAL MARKETING (20%)

  • Candidate collaborates with PR agency in order to define and validate weekly social media plan (Facebook, Twitter and Blogs)

  • Coordinate with VMware US team for the definition of website contents, promotions and plan.

  • PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (15%)

  • Candidate is responsible of managing be-weekly event calendar, summarizing the event strategy for the Country

  • Candidate also supports event and sponsorship organization: collateral, invitations, speakers, etC

  • Involved in customer campaigns, including review of materials and communication plans.

Candidate Profile:

  • Project management

  • Cross-team collaboration

  • Marketing: event management, demand generation, online and social media, ROMI

  • Strong English and Italian communication skills: verbal and written

  • Dynamic, energetic, driven

  • Ability to execute on-time and within budget

  • MS Office skills (Excel, PPT)
