Position Summary: This position provides an opportunity for an individual in Engineering, Health and Safety or a related field; to work in the Field Safety Services team in Milwaukee at Brady Corporation. The projects will vary in nature based on the current opportunities, the candidate and assigned area. All will provide an opportunity to learn and gain experience about the Brady suite of Safety Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Learn the business of SFID (Safety and Facility Identification Solutions) operations by supporting Field Safety Services projects either in the Equipment Lockout Tagout or Electrical Arc Flash disciplines. 2. Project involvement may be focused in any of the following areas: Equipment Lockout Tagout or Electrical Arc Flash disciplines. The area of Equipment Lockout Tagout will be driven by OSHA 1910.147 and will strive to help customers with their safety programs around equipment lockout and tagout to help ensure proper isolation of equipment prior to employees working on that equipment. The area of Electrical Arc Flash will be driven by NFPA70E and will strive to help customers identify all electrical hazards present that require arc flash labels and employees to wear appropriate PPE. 3. Develop operational excellence skills through various duties, which may include: project chartering, project management, data gathering, report generation, customer presentations and job costing. 4. Develop leadership skills through opportunities focused on change management, collaboration, communication, conflict management, decision making, delegation, inspiration and time management. GPA of 3.0 or higher Self-directed and able to solve problems with minimal supervision Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to interface with clients including maintenance, safety, and plant engineering personnel.
