Responsibilities: Learning & Development Intern The Learning & Development Intern will provide administrative and analytical support to the Learning & Development team. This person is responsible for tasks associated with eLearning, instructor led training, onboarding program and metrics. The Learning & Development Intern is a key member of the success of the Learning & Development team. This individual will: Assist with the administration of the learning management system (LMS) Test eLearning courses Compile data on training metrics Create training bursts (automated e-mails with surveys) Assist with edits to eLearning courses and instructor-led training materials. Update eLearning courses using Lectora or Captivate. Update instructor-led training materials including facilitator and participant guides, handouts, and PowerPoint presentations. Assist with the design and implementation of the Onboarding program Assist in the creation of Onboarding materials; website, PowerPoints, documents, etc. Prepare, assemble, and distribute Onboarding materials Assist with logistics coordination for training events Reserve venues, rooms, equipment, catering Identify participants and send invitations Coordinate and track pre-work Prepare, copy, assemble, and distribute materials Set up and clean up event training rooms Generate reporting and conduct analysis for the LMS, training bursts, Onboarding, and others as needed. Qualifications: Basic: Currently pursuing a degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources or related field. Ability to work part-time (20 hours/week) during school year Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel Attention to detail Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Effective communication and active listening skills Strong research and proofreading skills Ability to multi-task Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new software quickly Ability to consistently meet deadlines and high quality work Preferred: Previous internship experience preferred Currently enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student Knowledge of learning management systems Knowledge of eLearning and instructor-led training development Experience analyzing data This internship will be part-time (20 hours/week) during the 2017-2018 school year.
