The paid internship provides an exceptional opportunity for an undergraduate student to:•Utilize their Adobe Creative Suite skills to work in Photoshop and Illustrator to edit images and build design templates for our catalog content.•Photograph and edit images and also help manage and format graphics and images for our content team projects along with other internal departments.•Work with other members of the Content Team completing data analysis projects and other content data project.•Work with other departments to enhance inner company communications.•Provide design and production support for other departments as required.•Assist the Digital Asset Coordinator in updating the Digital Asset Management system housing all our product and marketing images for all product lines. This will include managing user accounts and vendor relations.Required Skills•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.•Effective time management skills.•Must be able to work in a Team based environment.•Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word•Ability to travelRequired ExperienceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS•Student currently enrolled and pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's Degree program, from an accredited institution.•Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required, with an emphasis on Photoshop.•Minimum of one year of collegiate courses completed or equivalent by the start of the internship.•Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.•Ability to work at least 20 hours per week for a three (3) month period starting in August 2017.•Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.•Ability to provide own transportation to/from the job site (Monroe, Michigan).•Reside within a commutable distance of the job site (Monroe, Michigan).•Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS•Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Design and Visual Communications; Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia; Design and Applied Arts, Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design; and Photography.•Familiar with auto parts and their naming conventions desirable.Job LocationMonroe, Michigan, United StatesPosition TypeInterngt
