Job Description: The Hardware Center Test Automation Department is made up of several engineering groups whose main objective is to design, develop, integrate and automate Electronic Warfare Group test systems to ensure validation of program hardware and also commonality of test equipment. The Test Automation EW Test Equipment Support Group at Point Mugu, California is currently seeking an intern student to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. For Multi-Level Intern Requisitions: This position can be a Salary Grade of G04, G05 or NUG based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. • G04 (College Junior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 60 hours of college • G05 (College Senior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 90 hours of college • NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2018) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program Required Skills: · Must be proficient in the use of standard MS Office products (Word, Excel) · Must be a college Junior, Senior or Graduate student by Fall 2018 · U.S. Citizenship is required Desired Skills: · Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying) · Strong interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written) · Educational background or interest in Engineering (EE, ME, Civil, Software, Computer Science) · Has completed most of the basic lower division (undergraduate) engineering courses (minor course deficiencies OK) Required Education (including major): Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2018. Must be working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or Mathematics , or equivalent technical discipline.
