The selectee for this position serves as a Student Trainee in the Information Management/Command Information Officer Division of the Naval Education and Training Center.

  • Analysis and resolution of Information Technology (IT) procedural problems.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector OR possess two full years above high school or have an associate's degree OR have a combination of experience as described as described which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement. General experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides information technology support to the organization.

This position may be noncompetitively converted to a GS-2210-05/7/9/11 Information Technology Specialist career ladder position after meeting all regulatory requirements (including qualification requirements), and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
