What you’ll do

The Brand & Consumer Insights intern will sit at the intersection of brand management and consumer insights (marketing analytics, consumer research). This individual will help uncover key insights, identify how these insights are relevant to the business, and figure out how to implement them into KIND’s brand marketing strategy.

Over the course of the 10-week internship, you will work directly with both the consumer insights manager and brand marketing team to support a variety of cross-functional marketing projects, including one capstone project to be presented at the end of the internship.

Projects you will work closely on:

  • Coordinate data for marketing analysis

  • Learn methodologies for addressing a spectrum of business questions

  • Partner with research vendors to design packaging tests; interpret and disseminate results

  • Dive deeper into KIND’s target consumer

  • Understand/ learn about campaign measurement techniques

  • Learn how to leverage results to optimize strategy to inform media & campaign planning

  • Support on innovation projects including packaging, sales decks and marketing support tools

  • Assist in marketing planning processes and creative executions

Required Experience:

Your qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate college/university

  • Interested in pursuing a career in marketing/consumer insights

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office; specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
