The Maids International Marketing and Communications Intern in Omaha, Nebraska

The Maids International is looking for an intern to join our Marketing Team starting during the summer 2017 and continuing through the academic school year. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our Marketing Team in all stages of marketing campaigns. You will have real responsibilities owning technologies and processes within our marketing mix. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire real-world marketing and technology skills, and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies.Our internship program is special in several ways:We offer year-round paid internships with flexible schedules.We give our interns responsibilities and roles which will prepare them to enter the workforce after graduation with "real world" experience.ResponsibilitiesOversee and administer voice of the customer analytics program, providing analytics and voice of the customer reporting to executive management team.Monitor and respond to user commentary/reviews regarding The Maids' brand while coordinating with relevant franchise locations to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of responses.Assist in executing The Maids' public relations efforts, both nationally and in local markets with franchisee offices. This includes conducting interviews with franchisees, writing press releases and coordinating external distribution vendors.Collaborate with Marketing Team to maximize relevance between SEM campaigns, social campaigns, email campaigns and corporate website.Monitor and evaluate competitors' use of earned media as well as industry trends to ensure that The Maids remains an active adopter of new technologies, best practices and new interactive solutions.Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).Activate and manage the data normalization process across multiple marketing system databases.Communicate effectively to peers, business partners, and management.Assist in managing portions of a marketing budget for assigned projects and programs.Qualifications:Successful candidates will be enrolled full-time in a university or college and studying marketing or communications. We are looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to have real responsibilities and can deliver exceptional results. We're offering a flexible schedule, and anticipate you will continue to take classes throughout the internship while working with us a minimum of 15 hours per week.
