The large-scale integrated photonics (LSIP) group in Hewlett Packard Labs is seeking qualified candidates for a postdoctoral researcher position starting immediately. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing artificial-intelligence accelerator using application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) or field-programmable gate array (FPGA) for applications such as internet of things (IoT). The selected candidate will also involve with the development of embedded system hardware that includes microcontrollers, sensors, wireless/optical transceivers, power management units, and energy harvesters. The selected candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary researchers and publish research results in top-tier conference and journals.
Education and Experience:
• PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related fields.• Strong publication record in machine learning, neuromorphic computing, deep learning, artificial intelligence, or related fields.• Demonstrated research capability in developing artificial intelligence hardware using ASIC or FPGA.• Strong communication and presentation skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to share research findings and solve challenging problems.
