Performance Specialist Internship with EXOS We are seeking dynamic individuals that bring exceptional skills and abilities to our team, and have a passion for providing outstanding service to our elite clientele.
Hours: This is a full time, unpaid, academic internship. Interns should expect to work 40hr/wk. Interns must obtaining relevant educational credit to qualify for this internship.
Overview: Our goal is to expose you to different philosophies and ideas and how they are integrated into our methodology and systems of training. We want you to learn how to evaluate the body in a more 3 dimensional format, understanding the entire kinetic chain and prescribing and implementing the best exercises and progressions to meet the individual needs of each athlete. Open your mind about all of the possibilities when training athletes--think outside the box and forget the cookie cutter approach. You will have the added benefit of working with an organization that is solely dedicated to its athletes.
This internship is UNPAID and requires proof of current enrollment in an internship program for relevant course credit.
Daily duties and responsibilities include: Assist with creating training plans for athletes and clients, building an understanding of equipment set-up and break down, learning and teaching EXOS methodology, assisting the Performance Specialists as needed with various aspects of training and testing, working towards obtaining an XPS certification, and much more.

Must be concurrently enrolled in a college degree program within exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology, biomechanics or a related field.
Must obtain college credit for the internship.
Must be able to dedicate 40hrs/wk to the internship.

Certified in First Aid/CPR for the duration of the internship term
