ERT's Pittsburgh Accounting team seeks an Accounting Intern to start as soon as possible and interested in an ongoing internship. As an intern you will help support the Accounting department activities and learn about basic accounting business practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Post journal entries

  • Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation

  • Assist with audits

  • Balance sheet reconciliation

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the monthly tracking of our physical inventory

  • Support the payment processing team

  • Data entry

  • Credit checks

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Should have completed at least 2 full years in a Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting major.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills are essential to this position.

  • Able to work throughout the Fall semester and into the Spring (if available).
