Opportunity: The employee is responsible for completing tasks and projects as assigned by engineering. Position Description: PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work on value added engineering projects. o Example: Balance a manufacturing line to enable higher, more consistent output and better utilize labor o Example: Design a fixture to make a process more consistent. Use solidworks to model the fixture and have a prototype created Assist with document changes and learn document change process Identify cost improvement projects and execute on those ideas. Participate in cost analysis to determine resources saved Create manufacturing process documents Collect, process and analyze data Other duties as assigned Requirements: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent required Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Bachelor s degree program Sophomore or Junior level preferred Previous internship experience preferred SPECIALIZED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Additional preferred or required qualifications. Experience with Microsoft Office Suit.
