Requisition Summary The Kenworth R&D Center is looking for an engineering intern interested in mechanical hardware design for medium and heavy duty truck components. Job Functions / Responsibilities - Assist in the design and construction hybrid vehicle chassis components - Generate detailed design drawings for prototype truck parts - Participate in the assembly of prototype vehicles - Troubleshoot heavy duty hybrid vehicle cooling systems Qualifications - Junior or higher standing toward an engineering degree - Knowledge of stress analysis fundamentals - Experience designing mechanical parts using CAD - Ability to work well in a team environment - Ability to summarize technical issues and communicate effectively - Microsoft Office skills required - Knowledge or experience with heavy duty vehicles is desired Employer's Job# 412454200A1 Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
