The System of Care within the Department of Human Services is looking for a Multimedia Specialist Intern to serve as an active member on the DHS Young Adult Task Force. The DHS Young Adult Task Force is complied of young adults,aged 16-25,who have lived experience in the DHS system. As an Intern with the DHS Young Adult Task Force,you do not need to fall within that age range. The DHS Young Adult Task Force is working to influence policies and practices to improve the DHS system - mainly its services and supports for young adults. THIS INTERN WILL WORK THROUGH SEPTEMBER,2017. Principal Duties The intern will need to be able to: lead the planning and development of 2 short (5-10 minute) training videos lead creation of flyer and revise application for membership on the task force be responsible for tech needs at youth summits and serve as support staff in trainings and events' oversee pictures and filming at UT-YES Art Show Open House Events The Ideal Candidate The model candidate for this position is someone who: ?loves troubleshooting and providing tech support is creative enjoys assisting in setting up and taking down displays has lived experience in the DHS system can work independently has good time management skills Why You Should Join Our Team You will work with a great team and be involved in the Young Adult Task Force.
