Position Summary: This internship opportunity is open to candidate with student status seeking an internship assignment.
The hours for this internship may vary from 0 - 25 per week as a supplemental employee.
Provides photographic support for Mayo Clinic within a clinical setting.
Works under the guidance of more senior photographers to provide patient photography and video in both surgical and clinical areas as well as operational event photography.
Works independently as well as in a team environment in the completion of responsibilities.
May act as a photo assistant on larger photographic initiatives.
May be requested to work evenings and weekends, though not typical.
The images created may appear in internal Mayo publications, intranet and internet web sites, external media, and electronic presentations.
Must adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high degree of professionalism during stressful situations.
Responsibilities: Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking high school and college interns for Paid Educational Student Internship opportunities.
Interns will work on a specific project that will provide a challenging learning opportunity.
Responsibilities will vary based upon your course of study and the business unit to which you are assigned.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications for consideration: 2.5 Cumulative GPA.
Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship.
Currently registered in school as a full-time student.
Additional Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Medical Photography, Photography/Forensics Photography, or Visual Arts with prior photography internship or work experience.
Prior research and/or health care experience preferred.
Prior internship experience preferred.
