DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Summary Are you passionate about computer engineering? Would you like a chance to apply what you have learned on a critical project? F5 Networks is offering the opportunity to join us on a summer internship. Interns at F5 work in collaboration with senior engineers who are eager to share knowledge as you contribute to the team. Primary Responsibilities * Design and implement portions of features for F5 products * Implement and maintain features/functionality for F5 products * Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents * Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Applicants should be/possess: * A current student enrolled in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering * Keen desire to learn about networking, distributed computing, and systems programming. * Familiarity with various programming languages, a plus * Understanding of IP networking basics, a plus * Willingness to write plans, specs, and reports * A positive, team-oriented attitude * A passion for technology and learning Internships are an excellent way to get to know F5.
