What is the IT Academy?
The IT Academy is MassMutual s premier IT internship program for high school and college students. We are dedicated to employing diverse, highly skilled students and aiding them in their career goals.
Strategic Position s Profile
At MassMutual, information technology goes beyond strictly technical careers. Our robust IT department boasts an array of strategic, people-focused roles that are perfect for aspiring leaders with strong communication skills, including Project Management , Business Analysis , Portfolio Analysis , Enterprise Risk Management , and many other exciting roles. Caree rs in strategic areas of IT may allow you to develop in the following areas. Interest/prior experience in these areas w ill strengthen your application.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite
Public speaking and presentation skills
Familiarity with file share systems such as SharePoint and Box.com
Ability to master new concepts quickly
Excellent time management
Ability to self-direct work

Aspiration/Interest in Leadership
Current Freshman, Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a four-year Bachelor degree program
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication
Demonstrated leadership skills gained from student clubs, community involvement or work experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future
Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
Strong, creative problem solver
Works autonomously, self-starter
Intellectually curious and agile learner
Preference for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business-related majors
