What is the IT Academy?

The IT Academy is MassMutual s premier IT internship program for high school and college students. We are dedicated to employing diverse, highly skilled students and aiding them in their career goals.

Strategic Position s Profile

At MassMutual, information technology goes beyond strictly technical careers. Our robust IT department boasts an array of strategic, people-focused roles that are perfect for aspiring leaders with strong communication skills, including Project Management , Business Analysis , Portfolio Analysis , Enterprise Risk Management , and many other exciting roles. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Freshman, Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a four-year Bachelor degree program

  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication

  • Demonstrated leadership skills gained from student clubs, community involvement or work experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

  • Strong, creative problem solver

  • Works autonomously, self-starter

  • Intellectually curious and agile learner

  • Preference for Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business-related majors
