The Division of General Medicine, McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, seeks board certified/board eligible clinical scholars at the Assistant Professor level for clinician teachers at Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC. This position involves teaching medical students and residents.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The selected candidates will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through teaching.

The Rank of Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine will provide direct patient care, teaching, and supervision of medical students and residents in hospital settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

The selected candidates for the position must have a Texas Medical License (M.D. or D.O.) Candidates must be board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine or be Board eligible.
