Fairview Health Services' communication interns use and enhance their communication skills working with a team of professionals at one of the region's premier health care systems. Interns spend approximately six months with us implementing tactics that meet specific business needs and support Fairview's brand, mission, vision and strategic priorities. Tactics include: writing content for a variety of communication channels (intranet, social media, signage, etc.), material creation, picture taking and event execution for physicians, employees and community members.
Candidates must have completed at least sophomore year of college, including public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or related coursework.
Strong writing, editing, and production skills for a variety of media (print, online, video, audio)
Flexibility and ability to work on deadline and on several projects simultaneously
Comfort and skill interacting with diverse individuals in different roles and locations
Event coordination skills
Passion for capturing and sharing the Fairview brand experience
Valid MN driver's license (or license that matches your current permanent residence)
Current and adequate auto insurance
20-40 hours per week for Fall/Winter Semester
