Paid Internship - 6 to 8 months ideally, New York City basedFull-time, but flexible schedules can be exploredStart date: as soon as possible (August 2017 ideally)The LVMH North America Regional Executive Development Team (part of the Human Resources Team) is currently seeking an intern to assist in the execution of talent development programs. The intern will collaborate with the team in their mission to support and create value across all brands in the region. A student with interest in organizational development, HR and executive education would most benefit from this opportunity. An internship with LVMH offers not only exposure to executives from across the businesses but also the opportunity to learn about a variety of career paths across different sectors in the luxury industry.Areas of FocusLearning Events (50%)Working closely with the Executive Development Coordinators to> Helping execute high-profile large scale events, on and off-site> Supporting all phases of the production of high-impact learning events, from preparation with providers, pre-work with attendees, logistical and hospitality set up, support during the events, to wrap up and evaluations> Supporting yield management: tracking enrollment requests, communicating with HR contacts, managing wait lists, replacements, and cancellations.> Providing operational support and continuity to the 2nd phase of the LVMH pilot - Mindfulness @ WorkL&D Community (10%)Assist the VP of Executive Development and Learning in:> Coordinating the community of L&D professionals from the brands, through meaningful gatherings > Supporting the community through on-line activationPortfolio review and Planning (30%)Assist the VP of Executive Development and Learning in:> Reviewing the portfolio of programs against a new performance framework> Researching venues, providers and other needed elements for future learning events> Analyzing the 2017 key performance indicators and impact of the department> Planning of 2018: determining needs, setting schedules with the training partners, assisting in gathering contractual agreements Additional Responsibilities (10%)> Depending on skillset, performance and interest, the intern can be given further special projects> Compile monthly communication of activities to send to Paris> Support the Human Resources Development Team as required


Profile - Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program (this is a paid internship)- Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and service-oriented- Interest in organizational development, HR, and executive education - Interest in retail/customer facing businesses and the luxury environment- Acute sense of detail and strong organizational skills- High level of professionalism and confidentiality- Comfort in presence and interactions with higher management - Interest in working in an international environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong PC skills, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint in particular)- SharePoint skills would be a plus
