You will join the team of the Agilent Usability & Design Center and be involved in all phases of our design process. You will support design projects for our instruments and supplies working closely with our project teams - as the usability advocate. Working from our Waldbronn site located near Karlsruhe south Germany, at the northern Black Forest, you will work internationally with hardware engineers, scientists, marketing and other experts, at our locations spanning across USA, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Your responsibilities:

Your task will be to analyze user workflows, design laboratory instruments, supplies and accessories and to develop ideas and concepts for product packaging, with the focus on usability and regarding ergonomic and technical requirements. Integrated in a team of experienced designers you will be entrusted with all the typical tasks of an industrial designer and be involved in all phases of our design process.


Your qualifications:

  • You are studying towards a degree in Industrial Design or a similar field or have recently graduated

  • Good knowledge in CAD and Adobe software

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Fluency in English or German necessary, ideally both

  • Technical affinity
