PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
SAP´s Global Corporate Affairs unit builds credibility and corporate reputation for SAP and our leaders with priority audiences through integration, compelling content, and rapid execution.
Integrated Employee Communications enables our internal stakeholders to consistently engage, inform and inspire employees to act as SAP ambassadors.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of Integrated Employee Communications, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in online journalism and both internal and external social media. You will learn about both the editorial and technical aspects of running a multimedia online publication targeted at a global audience. You will get insight in and support a variety of projects targeted at informing and engaging employees.
Your tasks will comprise the following:
Editorial support for our online employee news channel;
Technical support (e.g. content upload, editing, and publishing through our set of content management tools);
Research and interviews on SAP-related topics;
Writing, editing, translating, and proofreading of articles, newsletters and audiovisual content;
Social Media support.
Preferred start date for the internship is October 1, 2017 for a duration of 6 months.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) at a university or university of applied sciences
Preferred field(s) of study: Online-Journalism, Communications, Broadcasting
Computer skills: MS Office package, basic HTML
Language skills: Your native language is either English or German and you have excellent English/German writing and editing skills
Self-motivated and team oriented
Editorial and video-editing experience a big plus
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please remember to describe your skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
