Title: Terex Financial Services (TFS) - Sales Intern
Type: 10 Week Summer 2018 Paid Internship
Reports to: Director of Sales, TFS Aerial Work Platforms

Terex Financial Services (“TFS”) originates $180MM-$200MM in new loans and leases annually for the Aerial Work Platforms segment in the United States. The team is currently focused on serving the Independent Rental House space with Aerial Work Platforms as that’s the customer base that can benefit most from our finance offerings. We’ve been asked to increase / improve our coverage for Retail Finance opportunities from these Independent Rental Houses. The belief is that most of these opportunities would fall under our Application Only guidelines…and could result in an incremental $500K-$1MM each month. If successful, this could not only lead to incremental volume for TFS but could drive re-order activity of new equipment for Aerial Work Platforms.
Develop product offering most suitable for the Retail Finance opportunity
Collaborate with existing TFS Sales Team to identify high potential Independent Rental House targets
Attend weekly Tier 1 AWP Regional Calls
Work closely with TFS Credit to build an efficient process that drives a high quality experience for the customer
Report progress monthly to TFS & AWP Sales Leadership Team
Minimum junior year standing as of Spring 2018 at an accredited 4 year university/college.
Pursuing a full-time undergraduate/graduate degree
Minimum of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 required to submit resume to Terex Career Database.
Track record of demonstrable accomplishments in school and at work.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of Excel and Word (pivot tables and v lookups).
Attention to detail.
Solid communication skills - both written and verbal.
Well-developed organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Action oriented and strong follow-up.
Positive, can-do attitude; self-starter.
