The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically. Successful candidate for the Electronics Center Internship position will participate in multi-discipline teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE tools and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis and support of electronics products. This may include RF, digital, analog, power and mixed signal circuit card assemblies, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineering. Depending on the individual's area of interest and experience, responsibilities may include: Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design Functional analysis Functional verification testing Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues The chosen candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. G04 (College Junior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 60 hours of college G05 (College Senior by Fall 2018) - must have completed 90 hours of college NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2018) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program Required Skills: RF design/test experience Must be a college Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by Fall 2018 U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need an active Interim U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Ability to access to US only data systems Desired Skills: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying) Required Education: Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Junior or Senior year OR pursuing a MS / MA / PhD by Fall 2018.
