This position will work 30 – 40 hours over the summer and 20-30 hours per week around intern’s schedule during the academic year. The position will support the quality and compliance departments with monitoring and analyzing data, troubleshooting, and running reports within the incident management system, administrate a learning management system and other responsibilities as assigned.

A successful candidate must be a capable writer and communicator, fast learner, adept at managing multiple responsibilities and able to work collaboratively with business partners at all levels of the organization. Kiewit demands a person with high attention to detail and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines. This role is based in Omaha, Nebraska.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect data for bid reviews

  • Monitor incident reports

  • Run business reports and ad hoc reporting

  • Perform data analysis

  • Complete monthly reporting

  • Administrate Client Relations survey results

  • Super User for learning management system

  • Other responsibilities as assigned or as new processes are developed


  • Must be organized. To include time management, being task-orientated, and setting and meeting deadlines

  • The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, construction management or related degree

  • Previous work history with data analysis

  • Previous track record of successfully meeting deadlines and project expectations

  • Must have strong analytical skills to be able to interpret and understand complex data

  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Previous experience with Tableau and/or Excel, especially pivot tables, charts, conditional sums and formatting, and v-lookups is strongly preferred
