Universal Creative is the planning and development division of Universal Parks and Resorts™, which is one of the many businesses within NBCUniversal™. We are ideally situated in Orlando, Florida, which has become widely known as the theme park and resort capital of the world. We are responsible for the design, development, and delivery of all resort and theme park concepts for all of Universal vacation destinations worldwide – Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Singapore, as well as a new destination coming in Beijing, China. JOB SUMMARY : Work on the branding and communication of Universal Creative, including social media presence (LinkedIn), branded materials, company-wide communications and corporate presentations.
Develop and implement strategy for Universal Creative LinkedIn page – specifically for recruiting and engaging potential candidates.
Assist with company-wide newsletter, including copywriting, proofreading, and more.
Assist with executive presentations, including slide design, copywriting, image selection, color palettes and more.
Creation and design of various brand materials, including Keynote decks, print materials, email templates and more.
Assist with various research projects.
*This position requires a portfolio of work examples – if available, include a web address with your resume.
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising.
- Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.
Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:
Social Media experience.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
