JOB SUMMARY : The Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) department is responsible for both communication strategy and project integration. The IMC role is to understand the brand marketing/business strategy for Universal Orlando Resort products and services as recommended by internal client, e.g., Brand Management, and assist in the development of the strategic communication briefing documents to guide internal resources in the development of work product.

This role will support the IMC Florida & US Hispanic team with the development of the communications strategy for Universal Orlando Resort and ensuring tactics are delivered on time and within budget.


  • Project Management.

  • Implements the communication strategy and tactics that create a seamless campaign among all communications avenues within the organization.

  • Assists with the creation of communication briefing documents when needed.

  • Sets up meetings and routes materials to proper stakeholders.

  • Prepares presentations.

  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.

  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.

  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.

  • An official transcript may be required upon request.

  • Preferred majors include: Marketing or Advertising.


  • Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.


Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:

  • Superior written & verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Project Management.

  • Strategic Thinking.

  • Presentation Skills.

  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

  • Consistent attendance.
