Internship – Studio Operations / Photo Services – (Summer 2018)
JOB SUMMARY : Assist with the In-House photography team to execute the creative vision during Photo shoots both on location and in the studio as well as learning equipment, techniques and workflow of creative projects.
Photograph Assignments as needed.
Assists the Photographers in all aspects to ensure the shoot runs smoothly.
Maintains photo equipment and cleanliness of studio.
Ensures the studio is appropriately set up for a shoot.
Assists with set changes necessary to capture photographs in the appropriate environment.
Works daily on workflow, equipment, and set requirements
Creates and styles photographs without direction or as directed by Director of Photography and/or Art Directors.
Provides notes on images for retoucher.
Special assignments including assisting with location scouting.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Photography, Journalism, Fine Art, Graphic Design
- Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.
Preferable skills for success in role includes but not limited to:
Proficient in Canon EOS and/or NIKON digital cameras.
Proficient in Lighting systems – ProFoto and Continuous Lighting systems – Jokers, Celebs, Arri systems
Proficient in Mac systems, Capture One, Photo Mechanic and Photoshop
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt easily to last minute changes.
Practice safety during photo shoots.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
