Intern Accounting•Requisition Number:201•Position Type:Intern•Relocation Provided:No•Department:DIVISION COST ACCOUNTING - L2180 (Indirect)•Location:Sterling Heights Complex (LSHC)•Education Required:High School Diploma•Experience Required:Less than 1 yearPosition Description:Provide support to Travel Accounting department including: Assist end users with expense report processing Maintain Corporate Card program, process applications, maintain account controls Prepare and publish delinquent account reports Process accounting interface for expensse reimbursement transactions Review and analyze Corporate Card balances Other Travel Accounting procedures as requiredPosition Requirements:Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited 4-year university or college Candidates must have attained Sophomore status (completed Freshman year requirements) Candidates must be at least 18 years old Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.) Candidates preferably must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check The Intern must be able to complete a minimum of a 3 month assignment and work full time for the duration.
