Lockheed Martin MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INTERN in Stratford, Connecticut

Manufacturing Engineer, Harness and Component Installation -responsibilities include Process Design, Work Instruction Planning, and Aircraft Installation Support of Electrical Equipment and Wiring installations, evaluating designs for producibility, developing tooling and manufacturing plans for components, assemblies and installations. Interface with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Programs, Product Safety and the supply base in an effort to resolve issues relating to production installation of harness and component assemblies.

Basic Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired skills This position requires experience in Electrical and Electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing support, and outsourcing / offloading process. Candidate will be co-located in an IPT environment and must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills and professional presence.
